Healthcare & regulated businesses

Useful AI.
Carefully
introduced.

Put AI to work while accounting for the responsibilities your business carries. We start with the task, the information it needs, and the requirements that shape how it can be done.

A considered approach

Start with the work.
Understand the requirements.

Healthcare and other regulated businesses are an additional focus of our work. We help identify useful applications for AI and plan the setup with the right people involved. The scope depends on the workflow, the information it uses, and the reviews needed before it goes live.

Before implementation

Three questions
before connecting.

01

What should improve?

Identify a specific administrative or operational task, the people doing it, and what a useful result would look like.

02

What information is involved?

Map what the workflow needs, where it comes from, where it would go, and who should be able to access it.

03

What needs to be in place?

Review the appropriate tools, provider agreements, permissions, and approvals with your IT, privacy, and compliance specialists.

The implementation process

Define.
Test.
Review.

01 / Scope

Choose a manageable first use.

Help staff find the current approved procedure, draft a response to a routine administrative question, or prepare the weekly staffing report. Each use is reviewed for its information, permissions, and approval requirements.

02 / Testing

Test the complete workflow.

Check the tools, information flows, outputs, and exceptions using suitable sample data. Agree when a person must review the result and how the team can stop or escalate a problem.

03 / Handover

Make the responsibilities clear.

Document permitted uses, train the people involved, and agree who approves changes and maintains the setup. Introduce live use only after the required reviews and approvals.

Healthcare and HIPAA

The whole setup
needs consideration.

The work determines whether protected health information is involved. When it is, the scope must address the tools and features in use, applicable agreements, access controls, and the wider workflow. We plan this with your privacy, security, and compliance specialists before connecting information.

Before we begin

Questions you may have.

Is this only for healthcare businesses?

No. We work with owner-run businesses across sectors. Healthcare and other regulated businesses are an additional focus, with the scope adapted to their particular requirements.

Can we start without using sensitive information?

Often the first step can use public materials, approved internal guidance, or synthetic examples. We agree the information suitable for the selected tools before testing. Removing names alone is not our basis for treating records as safe to share.

Does choosing a particular AI product make us compliant?

A product is one part of the setup. The information, enabled features, connected systems, agreements, access, and day-to-day use all need review. We do not promise that a tool or implementation alone makes a business compliant.

Do you provide legal advice or compliance certification?

Our role is business advice and implementation. Legal opinions, clinical decisions, formal compliance audits, and certification are outside that role. Any required specialist work and responsibilities are agreed before the project starts.

A first conversation

the task.

Describe the work you want to improve and the requirements we should understand. Please keep patient information and other confidential records out of the inquiry.
